The woman who handled my issue was polite but I still felt blamed for us (my partner and I) not being able to participate in axe throwing. Google reviews says they close at 10:00 PM. I’m from NYC, city that never sleeps. I can respect an establishment closing but my thing is if you’re trying to actively always close from the time different listed on Google / YELP maybe you should update it. I called around 7:30 PM. I spoke with someone that told me as long as I’m not coming 2 hours later it’s fine. 2 hours is 9:30.We got there about 8:30/8:35.An hour from that would’ve been 9:30/9:35I was told they aren’t going to stay open just for 2 people.Again, if you want to close prior to 10 then update your hours.Tell the person the absolute cut off time. Plain and simple. They kept telling me about reservations, but it shouldn’t matter if a walk-in individual is asking you specifically about close off.Cheers to me wasting almost $20 for a Lyft just to get told we can pay full price and only throw for only half an hour not the full hour.
